Because the Syrian market deserves better
In Syria, "where should I eat?", "who's the best doctor?", or "is this shop any good?" always relied on personal connections. If you didn't know someone who knew someone, you guessed — and sometimes paid the price.
Sareeh breaks that equation: one platform collecting genuine reviews from real people with verified identities — no flattery, no paid rankings, no empty words.
Our name means honest in Arabic. We don't hide negative reviews, we don't sell rankings, we don't pay for fake feedback. Only real opinions from people who lived the experience.
From a simple question to a real platform
Field research in Damascus
We started with one question: "Does the Syrian consumer need a review platform?" We went out, surveyed 51 people, and the numbers were bigger than we expected.
Building the first version — MVP
We focused on restaurants and cafés as our first category, built profiles for the biggest venues, and started collecting the first genuine reviews.
First reviews with verified identities
Real users with verified identities started sharing their experiences — positive and negative alike. That's when Sareeh truly began.
Expanding to all sectors
Growing into clinics, hotels, educational centers, shops — every business in Syria deserves fair, transparent feedback.
What we believe in
Real identity
Every review is tied to a real person. Our KYC system ensures there's no room for manipulation.
Balance and integrity
We don't delete negative reviews. The full picture — positive and negative — is more valuable than a fake one.
Fair growth
Good businesses deserve good ratings. We don't sell rankings or mislead consumers.
Small in size, big in ambition
We believe the Syrian consumer deserves the same tools that protect and empower consumers anywhere in the world. Every decision we make starts with the question: "Does this serve the user?"
If you share this vision, we'd love for you to join our team or get in touch.
