Every verified user on the Sareeh platform has the right to publish an honest, experience-based review of any business they have personally used — positive or negative — provided it reflects a genuine first-hand experience.
The right to review is an inherent consumer right. No business owner can compel a user to remove or alter a review outside the platform's official dispute process.
No business, business owner, or third party may use platform data or published reviews to direct legal pressure, threats, or harassment against the author of a review.
A review is protected when all three conditions are met:
A — Based on a genuine experience: The reviewer actually used the service or product.
B — Distinguishes facts from opinions: "Cold food" is a fact; "worst restaurant ever" is personal opinion — both are protected.
C — No provably false factual claims: Such as accusing a business of a crime that did not occur, or fabricating financial data.
The platform reserves the right to review content outside these parameters, always contacting the reviewer first before any action.
The platform's KYC system verifies reviewer identity internally only — to prevent fake and paid reviews. This verification upgrades your review from "anonymous opinion" to "personal opinion grounded in documented facts," which is the strongest legal classification against any defamation or commercial-harm claim.
In other words: being verified within the platform protects you, because it proves what you wrote is not a random attack but a genuine, defensible experience.
Sareeh is committed to:
— Never removing a review due to commercial pressure alone, absent a clear Terms of Service violation.
— Notifying the reviewer immediately upon receipt of any legal request concerning their review.
— Contacting the reviewer directly before taking any action related to their content.
— Maintaining absolute confidentiality of reviewer data from business owners.
The platform provides a clear dispute mechanism for business owners — but this mechanism runs through the platform only. It does not authorize direct contact with, or pressure on, the reviewer in any way.
- 1Submit a formal dispute through the business dashboard, stating the reason in detail and attaching supporting evidence where available.
- 2The platform reviews the request within 5 business days and contacts the reviewer to allow for clarification.
- 3If the review is found to violate terms, only the specific violation is amended or removed — not the entire review.
- 4The platform's decision is final. Under no circumstances is the business authorized to contact the reviewer directly outside this process.
